Before anyone started producing specialized climbing clothes, climbers used military surplus. It was tough, affordable, and well-made. As the sport progressed, it wasn’t uncommon to see climbers modifying their trousers with extra pockets allowing them to haul more gear.
The Lost Arrow Notch Pant is our take on a modified P41 pant. We kept the traditional 100% cotton herringbone twill fabric and wide-cut silhouette. We’ve customized these pants with articulated knees, two extra-large velcro pockets over the existing pockets, and side seam waist adjusters.

Big Rock Candy Mountaineering full-price purchases returned within 14 days of their arrival date that are in new, unworn, and original condition are eligible for a full refund or an exchange. All sale/off-season items are final sale.
